Daydreams

Traveling the country
So I’ve been daydreaming a lot lately about what I’m gunna do with my life. One such daydream included selling my house and many of my possessions and buying a class A motor home. I would travel the country for a year or more, working odd jobs wherever I stopped. This daydream also included a wife. That’s a daydream on to it’s self. As much as I think I would like a girlfriend and untimely a wife, I haven’t made an effort to meet someone. These other daydreams are possible, but not right away. At least I can make an effort to get out more, the meet someone. I guess I just need to get of the fear.

Returning to College
Now for another daydream. I was thinking about moving to Carbondale, buying a house there and going back to SIU full time. In this daydream I didn’t have a job, I had roommates I charged more their share of the rent to cover my expenses. Sometimes I don’t have a car in this daydream. I went back to studding Radio/Television. I spend weekends going to the Shawnee National Forest, camping, hiking, canoeing.

Buying a Sports Car
I also daydream of a new car. I’ve done the research and I think the best choice for me to obsess about is the Mazda RX-8. It’s a sporty car with a practical twist, a full size rear seat. Never mind that a used one is $18,000-$20,000, in my daydream it doesn’t matter.

The daydreams and fantasies have been coming for a while now and never stop. I guess I’ll keep plugging away and writing about it.
