I got two roommates in the last two weeks. That will help pay the bills. One roommate is living in what was my office, so I have several boxes of office stuff to sort through. I'm looking forward to throwing away a bunch of stuff—old computers, computer books, software, etc.

I visited the doctor the other day when a cough I had wasn't going away. She said I had broncitus and gave me some anti-biotics. We'll see how that goes. It was the first time I saw a doctor in about a year, maybe two. Last time I went was when I was working at publication services. I was was shocked when a month later I received a bill for $300.00. I think Illinimedia has better coverage, but I'm a bit cynical. We'll see if I get any surprise bills next month.

I gave Skippy (my dog) a haircut finally and he looks much better, and there's a LOT LESS dog hair in the house!

I'm decided I'm going to try match.com. I'll let you know how that turns out.

Last but not least, I'm applying for another job at Ilinimedia, Creative Works Manager. I feel it's kind of a longshot but if I get it I'll be working more 9-5 hours.

OK, ONE MORE thing. I've been with Illinimedia almost a year, yesterday the boss called me into her office and said I'd be getting a raise. I did the math and it's about $400 more per month! Horray for me!
